was established as an affiliate of FHI 360 Nigeria to sustain her achievements in strengthening indigenous organizational capacity in Nigeria. We are seeking qualified candidates for the

DIRECTOR COMMUNICATIONS AND KNOWLEDGE MANAGEMENT
The Director Communications & Knowledge Management will lead the overall communications strategy of AHNI Nigeria with the Nigerian government and other local and
international decision makers, donors, partners and key stakeholders.
MINIMUM RECRUITMENT STANDARDS:
BS/BA in Communication or related field, and 9-11 years relevant experience in international development programs with 7-9 years supervisory experience. MS/MA in
Communication or related field, and 7-9 years relevant experience in international development programs, with 5-7 years supervisory experience. PhD, MD or equivalent degree with.
5-7 years relevant experience in international development programs and 3-5 years of supervisory experience.

DOCUMENTATION OFFICER
The position holder will provide support on technical and programmatic documentation; facilitate lessons learning and dissemination on all AHNI Nigeria public health interventions.

MINIMUM RECRUITMENT STANDARDS:
Masters degree in journalism, health education, public health or international relations, plus 3 to 5 years of experience in writing and editing health materials. Or bachelor’s degree and
5 to 7 years experience. Experience must reflect the knowledge, skills and abilities listed above. Fluency in English is required. Excellent communication and computer skills required.
Familiarity with Nigerian public sector health system, NGOs and CBOs is highly desirable.

SBC OFFICER
The SBC Office will coordinate all Abstinence/Be faithful/Other Prevention activities of the State program and guide the provision of technical assistance to sub-projects on their SBC
activities.

MINIMUM RECRUITMENT STANDARDS:
BS/BA in management, social sciences, public health or a related field with 5-7 years post national youth service corps experience in applied health policy and health systems analysis.
Or MS/MA in management, social sciences, public health or a related field with 3-5 years post national youth service corps experience in applied health policy and health systems
analysis. Or MBBS/MD/PhD with 1-3 years post national youth service corps experience in applied health policy and health systems analysis. Familiarity with Nigerian public sector
health systems and NGOs and CBOs is highly desirable.

SENIOR SBC OFFICER
The Senior Strategic Behavioral Change Officer will coordinate all Abstinence/Be faithful/Other Prevention activities of the project and will guide the provision of technical
assistance to sub-projects on their SBC activities.

MINIMUM RECRUITMENT STANDARDS:
Bachelor’s degree in public health, sciences or behavioral sciences, with 7-9 years demonstrated ability to manage SBC activities including IEC-related activities and community
mobilization in a large, complex health-related project. Or Masters degree in public health, sciences and the social sciences with 5-7 years demonstrated ability to manage SBC
activities including IEC-related activities and community mobilization in a large, complex health-related project. Or Bachelors degree in public health, sciences and the social sciences
with 3-5 years demonstrated ability to manage SBC activities including IEC-related activities and community mobilization in a large, complex health-related project. Experience with
HIV/AIDS program planning and implementation working with public and NGO sectors required.

ACCOUNTANT
Under the direction of the SFAO, the Accountant shall assume responsibility for accounting and ensure compliance with the contractual financial requirements of the project.

MINIMUM RECRUITMENT STANDARDS:
BS/BA degree in Accounting, Finance and Business Administration or its recognized equivalent, and 3 – 5 years relevant experience. Or MS/MA degree in Accounting, Finance and
Business Administration or its recognized equivalent, and 1 – 3 years relevant experience. Minimum of 1-3 years experience in accounting related to international development
programs. Familiarity with donor-funded programs and non-governmental organizations in Nigeria is an advantage. CPA, ACA, ICAN or recognized equivalent is an advantage.

ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT
The Administrative Assistant will support the Admin Officer and departmental staff in the provision of administrative and logistical services to AHNi staff.

MINIMUM RECRUITMENT STANDARDS:
University degree, recognized equivalent or HND. Familiarity with administrative and secretarial skills is an advantage. Familiarity with international NGOs is an advantage.  
Experience with large complex organization preferred.

ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER
The Administrative Officer will provide administrative and logistical services to AHNi staff including the supervision of inventory storage, mail dispatch, and security, maintenance of
office premises, equipment and facilities.

MINIMUM RECRUITMENT STANDARDS:
University degree, recognized equivalent or HND with minimum of 3-5 years administrative experience. Familiarity with international NGOs is an advantage. Experience with large
complex organization preferred.

CASHIER
Under the supervision of the SFAO, the cashier provides a variety of administrative and clerical duties including support in the preparation of Petty Cash Imprest Account for the
country Office finance unit.

MINIMUM RECRUITMENT STANDARDS:
BS/BA degree in Accounting, Finance and Business Administration or its recognized equivalent, and 0 – 1 year relevant experience. Experience in administering petty cash is an
advantage

CONTRACTS AND GRANTS OFFICER
The Contracts &Grants Officer shall provide support in the administration of contracts, grants, task orders and cooperative agreements in line with the requirements of the project.

MINIMUM RECRUITMENT STANDARDS:
BS/BA degree in Accounting, Finance and Business Administration or its recognized equivalent, and 3 – 5 years relevant experience. Masters degree in Finance and Business
Administration or its recognized equivalent, and 1 – 3 years relevant experience. Good working knowledge of donor contracts and grants regulations is essential. Demonstrated
success in multicultural environments is an advantage.

DRIVER
The driver shall provide a variety of transportation support to the project.

MINIMUM RECRUITMENT STANDARDS:
Secondary school leaving certificates, apprentice certificate or any other equivalent certificates with a minimum of 1 year experience. Must have a trade test certificate and a valid
driving license. Must have expert knowledge of driving rules and regulations. Experience as a driver mechanic will be an added advantage. Experience with large complex
organization preferred.

EXPEDITER
The Expediter will facilitate the smooth travels by staff of IPs, Consultant and TDYers.

MINIMUM RECRUITMENT STANDARDS:
HND/BSc degree in Business Administration, Social Science or related discipline; 2 years work experience with reputable agency as expediter. Skilled in computer word processing
e.g.: (Word, Excel etc.)

HUMAN RESOURCES OFFICER
The HR Officer will provide operational support to implement effective functional Human Resources (HR) processes for AHNI Nigeria in team functional areas, including
recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, compensation, HRIS and training.

MINIMUM RECRUITMENT STANDARDS:
BS/BA degree in Business Administration, Social Sciences or its recognized equivalent with 3 – 5 years of relevant experience. Or MS/MA degree in Business Administration, Social
Sciences or its recognized equivalent, and 1 – 3 years relevant experience. Demonstrated success in multicultural environments is required. Certified member of Chartered Institute of
Personnel Management or related body is required.

INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY OFFICER
The IT Officer will provide support and maintenance to AHNI Nigeria computer and network infrastructure to ensure stable operations.

MINIMUM RECRUITMENT STANDARDS:
BS/BA degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science or its recognized equivalent with 3 – 5 years post national youth service relevant experience. Or MS/MA
Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science or its recognized equivalent, and 1 – 3 years post national youth service relevant experience. Candidate must possess
Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) and/or Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certifications. Experience with a multi-site network (at least 3 sites) with a
minimum of 200 users is highly desirable.

OFFICE ORDERLY
The office orderly will provide a variety of clerical and administrative duties for the assigned unit(s)/division.

MINIMUM RECRUITMENT STANDARDS:
Secondary school leaving certificate, apprentice certificate or any other equivalent certificate.

PROCUREMENT OFFICER
The Procurement Officer will plan and implement systems and policies that guide all operations related to procuring supplies and services (in accordance with AHNI policy and donor
policies) in support of all AHNI offices and projects at CO and field offices.

MINIMUM RECRUITMENT STANDARDS:
BS/BA degree in relevant field with 3 – 5 years of relevant procurement experience. Or MS/MA degree in relevant field with 1 – 3 years relevant procurement experience.
Demonstrated success in multicultural environments is an advantage. Familiarity with donor-funded procurement rules and regulations (experience with donor procurement a plus).

RECEPTIONIST
The receptionist will provide both secretarial and receptionist services by monitoring and operating computer work, typing, filing, receiving visitors, answering calls, opening and
directing official mail.

MINIMUM RECRUITMENT STANDARDS:
University degree or recognized equivalent with 0-1 year experience in a similar role. Familiarity with international NGOs a plus. Experience with large complex organization
preferred

SECURITY GUARD
The Security Guard will provide a variety of security services to ensure the safety of life and property of AHNi offices and staff.

MINIMUM RECRUITMENT STANDARDS:
Minimum of secondary school leaving certificate. At least 3 years security experience with reputable agency. Knowledge of computer word processing e.g.: (Word, Excel etc.) is an
added advantage.

SENIOR FINANCE AND ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER
The SFAO will be responsible for accounting and finance and overall administration for AHNi Nigeria and will ensure compliance with the contractual requirements of the project. 
with the objective of providing professional accountancy services consistent with generally accepted accounting principles.

MINIMUM RECRUITMENT STANDARDS:
BS/BA degree in Accounting, Finance and Business Administration or its recognized equivalent, and 5 – 7 years relevant experience. Or MS/MA degree in Accounting, Finance and
Business Administration or its recognized equivalent, and 3 – 5 years relevant experience. Minimum of 3 years supervisory experience in office management and administration. CPA,
ACA, ICAN, CIMA, CFE or any other relevant professional qualification is required. Experience in managing financial records of donor-funded organizations, and familiarity with
donor and local contractual procedures is an advantage.

TRAVEL OFFICER
The Travel Officer will provide oversight and perform procedures related to fleet management and domestic and international travel for AHNI Nigeria.

MINIMUM RECRUITMENT STANDARDS:
BS/BA degree in Business Administration, Social Sciences or related field with 3 – 5 years of relevant experience in administration, logistics management or travel scheduling. Or
MS/MA degree in Business Administration, Social Sciences or related field with 1 – 3 years of relevant experience in administration, logistics management, or travel scheduling.
Demonstrated success in multicultural environments is required. Familiarity with donor-funded travel rules and regulations is an advantage.

DIRECTOR LABORATORY SERVICES
The Director, Lab Services will provide leadership and technical oversight of all aspects of the AHNI laboratory services in Nigeria.

MINIMUM RECRUITMENT STANDARDS:
MD/PhD in laboratory services or similar degree with 7 years relevant experience with international development programs which includes 5 years of relevant supervisory experience.
Or Masters in laboratory services or similar degree with 9 years relevant experience with international development programs which includes 5 years relevant supervisory experience.
Or BS/BA in laboratory services or similar degree with 11 years relevant experience with international development programs which includes 5 years of relevant supervisory
experience. At least 3 in establishing and managing laboratory services in developing countries including CD4, HIV viral load and HIV early infant diagnosis, TB culture and TB drug
sensitivity testing. Certification of license to practice as medical laboratory scientist or other relevant certification required. Familiarity with Nigerian public sector health systems,
international donor organizations, NGOs and CBOs is required.

SENIOR TECHNICAL OFFICER (Laboratory Services)
The Senior Technical Officer (Laboratory Services) will provide technical expertise and assistance in implementing high quality laboratory services within the HIV care and treatment
project in Nigeria, including laboratory capacity development at project health facility sites.

MINIMUM RECRUITMENT STANDARDS:
BSc in Laboratory sciences or related field with 7-9 years post national youth service experience and a minimum of 5 years experience in provision of laboratory support for
HIV/AIDS. Or Master degree in Laboratory sciences or related field with 5-7 years post national youth service experience and a minimum of 5 years experience in provision of
laboratory support for HIV/AIDS. Experience in the management of laboratory services, particularly health facility-based services, including quality assurance systems, laboratory
analysis, and interpretation and reporting techniques based on best practices, quality management practices and safe work practices. Knowledge of advanced laboratory procedures,
diagnosis and management related to HIV/AIDS care and treatment is required with some experience in an international development organization preferred. Certification of license to
practice as a medical laboratory scientist or other relevant certification is required. Expertise in hematology, TB and blood safety issues will be an added advantage.

TECHNICAL OFFICER (LABORATORY SEVICES)
With the Senior Technical Officer (Laboratory Services), the Technical Officer (Laboratory Services) will provide technical support and implement high quality laboratory services
for AHNI Nigeria programs.

MINIMUM RECRUITMENT STANDARDS:
BSc in Laboratory sciences or related field with 5-7 years post national youth service experience and a minimum of 3 years experience in provision of laboratory support for
HIV/AIDS (Or Master degree in Laboratory sciences or related field with 3-5 years post national youth service experience and a minimum of 3 years experience in provision of
laboratory support for HIV/AIDS). Knowledge of advanced laboratory procedures, diagnosis and management related to HIV/AIDS care and treatment is required with some
experience in an international development area preferred. Certification of license to practice as a medical laboratory scientist or other relevant certification is required. Experience in
Laboratory TB services is an advantage. Familiarity with Nigerian public sector health system and NGOs and CBOs highly desirable.

SENIOR GENDER SPECIALIST
The gender focal point will advocate for greater attention to gender perspectives, providing the necessary rationales and advice on approaches to support gender mainstreaming
throughout AHNi. S/he will be responsible for integrating gender sensitive approaches to technical assistance.

MINIMUM RECRUITMENT STANDARDS:
Master’s Degree or equivalent in Development Studies, Gender Studies, Sociology, Anthropology or related discipline with 5-7 years working experience in gender integration at the
national or international level. Expertise in gender analysis, strategic planning, and integrating gender balance into project design and management is required. Experience in dealing
with issues of women’s rights and gender mainstreaming within public institutions and/or international organizations required. Hands-on experience in design, monitoring and
evaluation of development projects is required. Preferably a recognized gender expert in the field, with first-hand knowledge of gender experience working in Economic Development,
Gender equality issues, Public Policy, or Social Development.

SENIOR TECHNICAL OFFICER (CLINICAL SERVICES)
The position holder will provide technical leadership and support to implement high quality care, treatment and support activities with primary focus on clinical management of HIV/AIDS including provision of Anti-retroviral therapy (ART).
