Responsible for providing support to both the in store and online retail operations of ensuring operational efficiency, increasing productivity and maximizing income.
Manage & support the activities of the Instore Retail, Online Retail, Technology, Supply Chain and Office management teams.
Manage activities that enhance top line sales, store productivity and bottom line profitability.
Ensure through and up to date knowledge of the retail industry, including competitors, retail partner performance and consumer trends.
Define and manage operational and technical policies and procedures.
Identify, propose and assist with roll-out of growth strategies for retail.
Assist HR in recruiting, inducting, and developing retail team members.
Promote a customer-focus retail operation.
Analyze management information including EPOS data to maximize performance, seize opportunities and make informed management decisions.
Manage the warehouse operation.
Monitor stock levels to ensure adequate supplies and identify methods of stock regeneration.
Assist with shaping brand strategy and marketing activities.
Build effective relationships with retail partners.
Identify opportunities through consumer insights and analytics to drive business performance.

Strong financial background or experience.
3-5 yrs experience in retailing.
5-8 yrs experience in management.


Work directly with merchandising team to purchase fashion merchandise locally and internationally. In addition you will assist in analyzing market and trade data to provide through understanding of customers.

Make frequent market trips.
Plan and select merchandise assortments.
Represent the organization to vendors.
Negotiate with vendors for favorable terms and services.
Price merchandise to generate desired profits.
Experiment with new merchandising trends and vendors.
Identify fast-selling and slow-selling products.
Maintain well-balanced stocks and assortments.
Manage the buying plan.
Analyze competition to evaluate their merchandise assortment, prices and merchandise presentation.
Forecast consumer demand and market trends.
Assist with developing merchandising strategies for a product line.
Develop an awareness of fashion trends.
Identify needs and wants of consumer.
Generate reports as required.

Will work directly with management to grow online and in-store foot traffic using social media, guerrilla marketing, direct marketing and partnerships with complementary businesses.

Develop and grow channels for reaching consumers for
Structure, negotiate and close opportunities that drive traffic to taafoo.
Leverage social media heavily as a marketing tool.
Advice executives on competitive landscape and opportunities.
Prepare written presentations, marketing & activity reports.
Develop and execute consumer loyalty schemes.
Continually learn new product knowledge and acquire better marketing skills.
Attend and participate in sales meetings, product seminars and trade shows.
Drive search engine marketing initiatives for
Manage and direct activities of other marketing team members.
Develop PR models to increase mention of in the media.
Maximize guerilla marketing techniques to maximize marketing ROI for taafoo.

B.Sc Minimum in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration or related field.
3-5 yrs experience, preferably in retail.

Must have Social Media, Search Engine & Guerilla marketing experience.


The Retail Management Trainee will receive company-specific training and on-the-job experience needed to develop and grow a career in the fashion retail industry. An RMT will participate in training experiences; learn new skills in retailing to demonstrate increasing proficiency and expertise in managerial responsibilities. He/she will be expected to develop decision making and managerial skills in people management, operations management and merchandising management.

Basic knowledge of the fashion retail industry and terminologies.
Understanding of the importance of customer service and a commitment to delivering it.

B.Sc Degree minimum.

Support our financial reporting and internal controls.
Assist with accounts payable and receivables.
Assist with inventory controls and balance.
Tracking & reconcile payments.
Reconcile bank statements.
Assist with monthly statements.
Manage monthly petty cash disbursement.
Drive improvements of accounting processes and internal workflows.
Assist with payroll, taxes and other government-driven financial requirements.
Maintain Company accounting policy and training manual.

B.Sc Minimum in Accounting.
2-3 yrs operational accounting experience, preferably in retail.
Solid organizational skills along with an aptitude for information technology.
Excellent analytical skills.
Exposure to and a working knowledge Internal Control framework.
Confidence & motivation.
Exposure to operational accounting concepts of inventory, procurement, payables, receivables and revenue.
Strong interpersonal written and oral communication skills.
High aptitude for information technology.
